Katsuyori

I looked around for manga-style pictures of mounted samurai archers, and I couldn't find one that suited what I needed, so I made my own. This guy is an OC I have been trying to use in a roleplay - I'm currently waiting on my prospective partner to return from the dead - but I really liked this character regardless... samurai with swords are amazing, but samurai archers are even better.

It was also a fun challenge to draw - the details, the pose, the horse were all difficult elements to get right, and I had to do a lot of research. I even put the character's family crest onto his tachi. X3

The setting is 16th century Japan with supernatural elements.
